People. Not just numbers
Everybody knows, who Osama bin Laden or Abu Musab al Zarqawi is. But who has ever heard about Ekaterina Abrosimova, Darban Singh or Lise Tanghus Knudsen?

This site is an attempt to get beyond the indifference of far too many people with the victims of terrorism. An attempt to get beyond boiling the effects of terrorist attacks down to understanding for the cause of the terrorists, and a number that represents how many had to pay with their lives for it.

The site is an attempt to name and - where possible - picture the people that have had to give up their lives due to the delusions of fanatic psychopaths. Since an attempt to document the identities of all victims would have such enormous dimensions as to make the task almost impossible - islamic terrorists alone have conducted almost 6.000 terrorist attacks since 911 - we have chosen not to try this to begin with.

Instead, we have chosen to concentrate on a limited number of the worst terrorist attacks, where we have seen a chance to access the names of the victims. The result can be seen in the sub-section "Attacks". At a later date, a total list of the victims will appear in the section "Victims".

Any and all help with this project is welcome.
